Despite remote jobs becoming less common and more challenging to secure, opportunities for home-based work are still out there for those who know where to search.
FlexJobs, a membership service catering to jobseekers, has identified the top 100 companies for remote jobs in 2024. This was determined from around 60,000 companies that posted their job openings on FlexJobs between January and December 2023.
FlexJobs reported a slight 11% increase in remote job postings in 2023, down from the 20% growth seen from 2021 to 2022. Growth continued in areas such as sales, technology, healthcare, and in accounting and finance roles, with about 64% of these positions requiring at least an intermediate level of experience.
