Financial Coach Spends Just $124 Monthly on Groceries, Shares Her Top Shopping Strategy

Carly DeFelice, a 38-year-old financial coach and community manager at a coworking space in Austin, Texas, is a master at saving and budgeting.

Since graduating college in 2008, she’s not only cleared $35,000 in debt but also accumulated about $400,000 in cash and investments, all on a modest annual salary.

What’s even more impressive is how she manages her grocery budget. In September, she only spent $123.65 on groceries, a feat considering today’s rising prices. DeFelice attributes her success to careful meal planning and being intentional with her shopping list.

She estimates that by diligently planning her meals each week and sticking to her list, she saves thousands annually compared to the average person. It’s all about the small, consistent habits that make a big difference over time.

Discover how she does it here.
